Shark sparks smiles in Up Hatherley

Competition winner Theo Archer (4) won first prize at a family fun day organised by new homes developer Redcliffe Homes on its popular Manor Farm development in Up Hatherley, Cheltenham.

Theo took part in a ‘guess the cartoon character’ competition which resulted in him winning a £25 Toys R Us voucher and giant cuddly shark called Seamus.

Lorraine Kendrick, marketing and sales manager at Redcliffe Homes said: “Manor Farm has proved a resounding success ever since we started on site.

“As people have moved into their new homes so the community has grown.  The family fun day was a great chance for people to get to know each other, and for those thinking about buying at Manor Farm to see for themselves what a fantastic development it is.

“Our community in Up Hatherley has really grown and is a great example that if a development is able to offer homes full of character that are within their price band then it will sell.”

Comprising a stylish selection of 36 two, three, four and five-bedroom homes, the development also includes the refurbishment of Rusty Shilling farmhouse and five former outbuildings.

All the houses in phase one of the development have now been sold and it is anticipated that the soon-to-be-refurbished homes will be released for sale early in 2014
