Urchfont on Sunday Times 'Hot List'

The Sunday Times has named our new scheme in Urchfont, Badelynge Yard, the ‘Best For Village Life.’  We couldn’t agree more.

The paper says: In a former farmyard in the conservation village of Urchfont, near Salisbury, Badelynge Yard will comprise 19 high-spec homes, built with a nod to their agricultural roots – looks include thatched cottages and barn conversions – but with flexible open-plan layouts. The semis, terraces and detached houses are all named after breeds of ducks, and overlook a duck pond, but the real selling point is Urchfont, which often wins Wiltshire’s best-kept-village award.  It has a green, a good pub, a post office, an active parish council… and a scarecrow festival.  Prices on the Redcliffe Homes development range from £245,000 for a two-bedroom Mallard to £780,000 for the Saxony, a detached home with four bedrooms.

Location, location, location… clearly it’s not just us who think Badelynge Yard’s a winner!
