Sponsored Walk - Memorial Stadium to Ashton Gate
Redcliffe Homes donates £250 to MNDA (Motor Neurone Disease Association) and St Peters Hospice.
Gerrian Baker, Technical Manager at Redcliffe Homes is part of a community fundraising group, known as the Mangotsfield Community Association.
They hold many events throughout the year raising funds for their two chosen charities, this year they are fund raising for MNDA (Motor Neurone Disease Association) and St Peters Hospice.
On Saturday 16th September, Gerrian and his friends, which include Bristol City and Bristol Rovers fans walked with their collection buckets from the Memorial Stadium, home of Bristol Rovers to Ashton Gate, home of Bristol City, hoping to raise as much money as possible for these worthwhile charities.
They already raised over £2,000 through bucket collections, card payments and JustGiving during the Sponsored Walk, so this donation from Redcliffe Homes will boost their efforts considerably.
On 24th September, there will be a Charity football match at Mangotsfield United FC. If you would like to support them, KO is at 12:30pm. Please see information on flyer.
